GSD&M Promotional Animation:
This animation was made to promote FGSQUARED's award winning team of 3D animators to GSD&M in hopes of landing some 3D work. I collaborated with three other animators on this project. I developed the initial story concept and worked closely with the group to flesh out the final story boards. I was responsible for the character animation for the letters "S" and "&". In addition I contributed to the lighting, texturing, camera work, and compositing for the final movie.

Just for some background on GSD&M, they're slogan is "Idea City" and their logo is a person holding up a lightbulb. Don't forget to watch the movie (30.5 MB)

As a side note, the original music sounded vaguely like Peter and the Wolf and didn't work at all with the vision the animators were going for. In an attempt to straighten out the Audio engineer, I overlaid this piece of music from Charles Mingus to give a feeling for what I wanted the music to be like. Oddly, the music fit perfectly with the existing cuts for the movie. Everyone liked the Mingus track so much, no one wanted to change it.
